The many adventures of Moose continue. I have to start off by saying sorry to my neighbours for the early wake-up call. It isn’t too early for many of you moms with early-rising children. But for the mom whose older kids have a hard time going to bed at night, up later than the littles, 6 AM feels early. Hot messy mom moment, running out in only an oversized t-shirt trying to hold it down to make sure nothing is exposed. Making sure not to be captured on the outdoor cameras that the neighbours have.
It all started with dreams. Wonderful sleep that you aren’t quite ready to get up in the morning. As we roll over in bed to meet each other questioning, the car alarm we hear, someone is getting ready for work but hit the wrong button. It stops going off and we start to roll back over in bed. As we lay we hear it go off again. I am very sure that it doesn’t belong to us but my husband gets out of bed to check. All I hear is “What are you doing?” In a shamble, I quickly get out of bed as I hear the front door close! The front door was OPEN?! It was our van blaring, waking the area. I go running out to see if the doors have been opened at all. Running outside, instead of using the remote go to check the door in my pajamas, which is an oversized t-shirt. To see all automatic doors open. I go and manually close them all. Running back in pulling my shirt down the entire way. To my husband’s shock, why I would run outside to check the van instead of just using the remote? That is a way to get the day started.
My son turns to me right after we have fixed all the commotion. “It’s breakfast time!” It definitely did get me up for breakfast. So I guess the luck of him finding the spare key and using it to wake the parents worked. Good morning.!
